Anna Davis



Anna Davis began her aikido training in 1997 with Stephen Steger at New School Aikido, Modesto. She received her shodan from John Smartt Sensei, New School Aikido, Stockton in 1999.

Anna restarted her aikido training after a five year break, with Ken Nisson Sensei under the affiliation with Aikido Schools of Ueshiba in 2005. She also had the privilege of training with Dan Messisco Sensei for two years. She received her shodan in 2007 from Senseis Nisson and Messisco and received her Nidan recently in November 2009. Anna’s approach to training and teaching is to study effective martial techniques while holding on to the nonviolent principles of Aikido and having fun. 

Anna teaches the pre-junior’s class (ages 5-9) on Wednesdays and assists in the Junior’s class (ages 9-14) She also teaches the Adult Basic class on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
